Carport Nest

I live in Northern Indian. There are two similar nests in the carport one I know belongs to a barn swallow the other belongs to a bird that is similar in size but appears to be mostly brown/brown striped in color. I have only seen it when it is sitting on the nest. The nest is located in a corner on a narrow ledge. The nest appears to be fairly shallow.
