Can't find it in my bird books

Located in North Western Pennsylvania. I have been seeing this bird around my seed feeder and bird bath, although I have never seen it using either. Mostly brown with some lighter brown streaking threw out the slender body. It is about 5-6 inches long, has a small and fine bill like a warbler's. The tail is square with a white streak across it. A Flies like it catches insects and seems to be territorial, as I saw it fighting with another one.
