Can anyone please ID this bird?

by John
(Melbourne, Australia)

I saw this beautiful bird in my yard yesterday. I only had enough time to grab my camera and shoot off one exposure, before it took off.

It was about two feet tall, and looked like a Sacred Ibis, but I have never seen one with this grey-blue colour before.

Maybe then, a Brolga? But Brolgas have red ring markings on their necks and throats, and their bills are a different shape....

I am in Melbourne, Australia.

Thank you, all.
