For only the past few winters we have had flocks of Bushtits in our yard. They are such small brownish-grey non-descipt birds. They are always in large numbers and fly very qickly. They LOVE my peanut butter and seed cakes.

fat block placement

I'm wondering why you leave the fat block in the plastic holder. Is there a reason for that? I take mine out, and they swarm at it from all side. Love these adorable little birds.
