Bucky

by Jackie

I found it outside my door with a hurt wing. I brought it inside and put it in a cage to heal since no one in our area will take it. The wing isn't that bad. It just has a scratch on it from what looks like a cat. It's been moving the wing and stretching it out. I figured a few days of rest and we can set it free. I don't know the sex but I've never seen such a small bird with a beak like this. My daughter named it Bucky. Any one know what kind of bird this is? If you need a better picture I can get one. It was sleeping and didn't want to wake it. It whistles instead of chirps and the tail is small.
