Brown Horned Songbird in coastal CA

by Tammy
(Santa Cruz Co. CA)

Brown, back combination light/ darker brown. Streaked chest in light brown on a brownish-gray background. The horns were brownish. This bird had a small yellowish conical beak. This bird never stopped chirping! He was outside next to a seed feeder and stationed on a squirrel baffle above my canaries . It did not use the feeder. We live coastal CA near Santa Cruz..
