Brown Bird found....Want's us to hold him and tries to follow inside

I think it is 6-8 inches long....dagger style beak...maroon colored legs all shades of brown, black eyes...yellow on inside of beak...we want to know in case there is something we need to do.

Yes, the ones I saw today flew in a large flock. Landed in a tobacco field to get the bugs, etc right after a rain.
