Breeding pair

For a couple of years I have enjoyed watching a pair of Pileated wood peckers in my back yard, I live on the edge of Brown co. state park in Bloomington, In. I have yet to find their nesting hole, and I have not seen any young ones, but the pair are around almost every day and rarely will I see one without the other close by.

Listen for their sound and watchem
by: Anonymous

I found the location of 1 of my 2 pairs homes by sitting and watching ,listening. That sound of theirs is real loud and you can seclude yourself and watch. They go high up into the tallest trees. so look way up.

Keep feeding them
