Blew in with Sandy?????

My daughter found this bird and we haven't seen one around here like this?

The red crown patch makes me think it is a Ruby-crowned kinglet. Pool little thing.

definitely blew in from the south or at least was traveling south

In my bird book it shows that this bird is south in the winter and in travels north above NY in the summer. Since this was in the inland western new york area on Nov. 2nd to me says he was either already there and blew in or was migrating and got delayed with the storm. What do you all think?
