Azureas Noires NEW
by: Nature Hiking Team- Leader

I have seen that bird on a school field trip to The Astronomy Museum, a.k.a. The Adler Planetarium, a couple years ago. It was lunch and that was what I saw, a Black Bird with a Blue Neck Bar, and a Reio Noires, a.k.a. my scientific way of saying Red Wing Black Bird. There were interacting or playing with each other. It is a mystery, so for now just call it a Azureas Noires.

Beautiful Brewer's blue birds! NEW
by: Maria

Just saw a male and a female brewer's blue birds on my yard here in Maryland 4 the first time!! Used to see them when I lived in Michigan near the Canadian border but never here. The temps have been unusually cold here this Spring and that might be the reason. Great surprised!

Brewer's Black Bird with Blue collar NEW
by: Nana

Just saw my first Brewer's Blackbird in my yard. Had to research this beautiful bird. Snapped a picture of it, but not as good as this pic shown is. I've been a little under the weather and taking cold medicine, and when I saw this bird, I thought I was hallucinating LOLOL !!!! First time ever in Delaware County, PA :)

I saw it too. NEW
by: Jillian

I saw one today and trying to figure out what it was. Solid black and no iridescence. The blue around the neck was very striking.

Thanks Amy NEW

Thanks Amy. I know that now after doing more research. I see grackles all the time but never with that shade of blue. Usually much darker.
