Bird Migration is in Full Force

Map of Bird Migration

It is one of the great wonders of the world. Billions of birds are flying northward across North America and it is taking place this very moment!

Hummingbirds fly all night to cross the 500 miles of Gulf of Mexico in 20 hours.

Warblers have been known to fly 2000 miles non-stop in 3 and a half days.

Birds fly marathons that defy logic!

Hopefully you will spot some of them as they make their route north. Some may stop at your feeders for nourishment - and your enjoyment. And hopefully, after checking out your bird feeders and birdhouses, many will decide to spend the summer in your backyard!
