Bird in Crater lake

The photos were taken near Crater Lake, Oregon, California. Looks like Peregrine Falcon, but not sure. Can you help us identify this bird?

Likely a Peregrine Falcon

Certainly could be. The Peregrine Falcon is very similar to the Prairie Falcon. The Peregrine flies at high altitude like this, as opposed to the Prairie's low to the ground hunting. The Prairie has an underwing pattern, and the Peregrine does not.
