Bird in Cleveland area, Ohio

by Michele Slaght
(Westlake, Ohio, USA)

This bird is very, very large and has been hanging around my yard the last couple of days. I've been keeping a close eye on my 25-pound dog. Anyone know what it is? Thanks!

Great photos Michelle. It is a Red-shouldered Hawk.
