Bird identification


I live in Lawrence county located in southern Indiana and it's Feburary 22, 2013. I seem to have many of these in my yard searching for food on the ground, what type of bird is this?

I seen this bird eating in my backyard this morning and had never seen one here before. I live 10 miles East of Zanesville,Oh. I took a couple of pictures through the window and screen because I didn't want to scare it off. The pictures are not very good at all, but I wanted to have a picture so I could identify the bird by searching the internet.
