Bird in our Backyard

There was a bird who hit our window. It was lying on the ground, but was still breathing. To keep it safe, away from our cat, we poked holes in a box, picked it up with some gloves, and placed it in the box up high.

Eventually it got over the shock of hitting the window, and probably by being picked up by humans too, and flew away. But! We got a picture beforehand and wanted to know what kind it was! Thank you for letting us know!

Yes, she is a female Black Headed Grosbeak and possibly a fledgling because the crown is not defined or yellow.
