Hi, I don't believe any of the jays are related to titmice, they are a separate species.

Is the whiskey jay a relative of blue jays or titmice ? It looks like a cross of both.

    Small dusky or dark gray bird, 3 to 4 inches, with a fan shaped tail. The tail had 2 yellow triangle markings, which were about 3/4 to 1 inch each.
