Bird call

I cannot see it but hear a bird on one of our pine trees. The call sounds like a cross between a duck and a very creaky door or wheel. We are on the beach of Henderson Bay WA. Never heard it before and would love to know what it might be. And, no, it's not a crow!

Hi Jundy! Check out www.allaboutbirds.org. The site has audio of bird calls. I was able to find a mysterious bird call there.
