Bird by our pond

We've see many types of birds at our pond, but this one is new. It's mostly white, has a long orange beak, and a small head.

Hi, I'm not so sure that it is a Great Blue Heron. You say it is mostly white but the picture shown here shows the bird to be gray. Can you past a picture from a different angle so we can see the white you are referring to?

Just a guess from your description of beak and your picture. His feathers look grayish white in your photo.
