Bird butter

3 cups unsalted shelled peanuts

3 tbl coconut oil
Handful of raisins
Mix in food processor till thick like peanut butter
Stores well in frig
Holds ups well in warm and very cold weather
Birds LOVE this and I have seen all kinds
Of birds eating this even bluebirds, finches,
And of course woodpeckers, chickadees ,
Nuthatches ENJOY

I would like to try this recipe. When you put the butter outside, how do your serve it to the birds?
I have a suet basket, will it stay in it without oozing out?

    A relative went to HB class. They found it is safe and more effective to use 2 water to 1 sugar. I use 4 cups of boiling water into 2 cups sugar.
