Sorry I don't have a photo. I didn't think to take one. I spotted a bird fly into my backyard, and then I started noticing more and more until I counted six. I think I have narrowed it down to ruffled grouse or broad winged hawks. They had big, rounded bodies. I thought I spotted a ruffle on the head and black band on the tail, hence the ruffled grouse. But their coloring looked like the broad wing hawk in my bird book. These are quite numerous here in Duluth in the fall.
