It is a young robin and it may be able to fly. Find a safe, sheltered place for it to sit and wait to see if it will fly home to it's nest. It may have just fledged (first flight from the nest)and not made it very far. Mom may come along and encourage it to fly too. If you are not experienced in caring for a young bird it doesn't have a good chance of surviving. BE SURE it has WATER or it will die soon. If it doesn't fly after 3-4 hours or is unsafe please take it to the nearest Audubon Society and they will care for it and release it.
