Baby Bird found

I found a baby bird that has grey feathers and a yellow beak. It has a sharp chirp and it was found in the city with little surrounding vegetation.

a blackbird - the blackbirds that come to my garden to feed pick up the leftover croquettes that I put out for a stray cat, so perhaps if you soak some and feed it with (say) some eyebrow tweezers, you might be able to save it. Or you could dig up worms ...
