Two males and a female were at our feeder this morning. It is the first time I have ever seen these birds and spent some time this morning trying to find out what they were. The female was at the feeder later this afternoon, but I have not seen the males. They were eating black-oil sunflower seeds, and a nut/berry mix. I was not able to take a picture because my batteries were dead. They are charged and ready now!!!
We live in Northern Indiana, near the Michigan state line. Our yard borders a small park with an open area. We have been lucky enough to see Eastern Bluebirds, Orioles, hummingbirds and of course all of our local/common birds. If I can get pictures, I will put them up asap!
