anyone know what this bird might be...?

bird is mainly light brown, black dots on chest,red streak on back of head, long beak, black marking underneath beak, beautiful bright yellow underneath wings & tip of wings otherwise wings are black a little larger than a robin.

Hi Carol. Your bird is a Yellow-shafted Flicker. In our area we have Red-shafted Flickers. The look almost the same except they have salmon red feathers instead of yellow. And they don't have the red patch behind the head but have a small red patch on each 'cheek '.
