American Goldfinch

I live in southeastern Ohio. Outside of my kitchen window is a stack of flat rocks about two feet high. Every morning I pour about 1/2 cup of sunflower seeds onto the large flat rock on top. On May 23 of this year, I counted 11 male American goldfinch and perhaps half as many females.
