I was hiking in Wolf Creek Falls nature preserve near Altamont, NY when an all white bird “flew” across the path zigged and zagged a few times then landed in the undergrowth. I tried to sneak up on it and it ran across the ground through the undergrowth then stopped. I was only able to get one good picture before it ran off again. When I first saw it I thought it was a large white hummingbird, which gives you an idea of the size.
