Adult Male in West Central Alabama

(Linden, Alabama)

Hello from West Central Alabama! We have had a male Rose Breasted Grosbeak here for almost two weeks. We had two for about one week then now just the one. He comes every morning and every afternoon. We anxiously wait for him each day. Today he was on the ground picking up seed. We have two black oil sunflower seed feeders, one wheat, one thistle and one mealworm feeder. He likes to sit on the stand of the sunflower feeder by the rose bushes. After several attempts to get a good picture I finally managed to sneak around and get several. He is really beautiful and we will hate to see him go, I'm not sure how long he will stick around but we hope he stops by when passing back through.
I'm sorry if the picture is grainy it was taken with my camera and then I took a picture of the screen with my phone. :)

Happy Bird Watching,
Amy
