A bird hopped in my room

Hi there, I was calmly meditating and relaxing when all of a sudden a nice little birds starts hoping in my room. I was pleasantly surprised. I have him in an aquarium for now...not sure if I'll keep him, but I do want to know what kind of bird it is. Thanks so much for your help. Take care.

Let it go

That bird visited you, and rather than enjoying the gift of its company until it was ready to leave....you lock it up? Seriously!? Have you gained no insight during your meditation at ALL? A wild bird is not an object for you to possess like a new toy. It is a living creature with a life of its own, perhaps a mate, perhaps babies waiting to be fed somewhere, a desire to fly and be free, uniqe dietary and other needs that you obviously are oblivious to. Let that bird go. It is cruel (not to mention illegal) to keep it.

Not an idea.

I don't think that's an idea. Going from being free in the wild to a glass box? Hmmm.
