Lola from Houston, Texas has taken the original hummingbird feeder recipe, and made it even better. She adds petals from her roses and gardenias to the 4 parts water and 1 part sugar, then boils it. Let cool and add to your feeders. Read her post here.

Meadowlark Festival

The spring is the most interesting season to study birds. My local Meadowlark festival begins next week. I look forward to it every year, learning so much about the various species of birds in my area.
