For the past few years, we've been on their migration path. We were so excited to see 4 males and 3 (?) females at our feeder this afternoon on the southwest side of Chicago. They usually stay a few days and move on, as I don't see them in the summer. Our feeder is heavy on black oil sunflower seeds, which is what I think attracts them.
