1st time seeing these birds


Seen standing in water edge for several hours on 3-30-2012 in Lake Placid, Fl. Grey head, orange beak, body brown, wings appear to be darker than body, possible black, white stripe on wings. First time we have seens this birds on our lake. Need help please identifying them.

Possibly a Black-bellied Whistling Duck, which has a distinctive goose-like neck. Their population is increasing.

    Tourquoise bird, cardinal size and similar wing pattern and has a beige beak. Except for the beak color, looks like a Indigo Bunting. Is this a juvie??
