I saw an exact same bird last year. It looks like a baby goldfinch, but with an orange mohawk?

Leslie, I believe your little visitor is a Ruby-crowned Kinglet. I looked it up in my bird book.The Kinglet has a small pointed beak like your bird and distinct wing bars.
